ME

Wild Hollow Design House is a design studio nestled in the riverside woodlands of Wisconsin’s Driftless Area.

For more than a decade I’ve had the opportunity to work on a wide range of publishing and design projects, creating book interiors, magazine layouts, illustrations, and visual work that helps bring stories to life. Over the years I’ve designed more than 180 book interiors across genres including children’s books, novels, memoirs, and nonfiction, and have collaborated with publishers, designers, and directors to shape thoughtful and readable designs. Alongside my design work, I’ve also created illustrations for projects including children’s books, wedding invitations, and logo designs.

My creative path began with a background in environmental science at the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse, where I also studied design and photography, and continues today through my studies in natural science illustration with the Rhode Island School of Design. When I’m not designing books, illustrating wildlife, or working behind the camera, I’m usually exploring the outdoors, reading, antiquing, and caring for my menagerie of ducks, guinea fowl, cats, and a dog.
